With the surge in popularity of inspirational websites such as Pintrest & Houzz , we are seeing an ideal shift in the way society views interior design. Social media in general is directly inspiring many designers, home owners and builders in becoming more conscious about design.
We would like to share what we believe will be the hottest interior design trends of 2016.
Color:
From daring color to tawny, natural hues, we take a first hand look at the gorgeous palettes forecast for 2016.
2016 will bring together natural elements, striking metals, rich jewel tones and global flair.
The wonderful wooden elements intertwined with smooth cement along with texture & pattern radiates warmth & serenity.
One of the simplest ways to make an expression no matter what your style is to fuse a pop of jewel toned color. Jewel tones are dramatic accents for any interior; whether it’s the color of every wall in a space filled with equally saturated tones or a single piece set in contrast to pale neutrals, there’s something pleasant and inviting about these opulent and dramatic hues.
Warm grays will maintain to play an important role in residential and commercial spaces mated with uplifting hues.
3D Printing; A process by which a 3D design is turned into a real object.
Ranging in size from a microwave to larger than a house, 3-D printers come in different types, broadening an array of technologies to create solid objects based on digitally mapped designs.
3D Printing has had a huge influence on interior design. Whether used on light fixtures, furniture or floor tiles, geometric shapes are all around. The visual illusion is certainly the most appealing experience when it comes to geometric shapes, creating a lot of character in spaces.
Vintage & Artisan:
Industrial, re-purpose and vintage are key words in some of these inspiring interior features, whether used as shelving , lighting or other creative uses, reusing vintage or just unused objects in the right way can give a great deal of character to any space.
Global Pattern:
Don’t be apprehensive to mix various prints within a space, Tie various patterns together by incorporating a similar color throughout each element in the room.
ECO CHIC:
Sustainable products are becoming more accepted, and with good reason. You will see a good deal of re-purposing, reinventing, and reusing products to decorate your home.
